Freshwater West, Pembrokeshire, Wales

This is the last of my Wales posts until my next visit, but I just had share the beautiful beach of Freshwater West in Pembrokeshire.

The images might be a bit samey, but I couldn’t choose favourites! Photos unedited.

I’m from Pembrokeshire and never tire of how gorgeous it is, especially the beaches. The beaches are amazing, the coast is beautiful and the water is absolutely freezing!

Freshwater West is one of my favourite beaches for a walk. It’s not so much one I’d go to relax, but I love the surrounding dunes, the long, winding road down to it and it’s always fun to explore. This time, unfortunately, I came across a dead dolphin with a massive bite-shaped chunk missing from it, so that was slightly less lovely!

When home, we often go to ‘Fresh West’ for a drive and it’s one of my favourite parts of Pembrokeshire.

This beach was used for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and I actually got to see Shell Cottage and Dobby’s grave! It was also used for the Russell Crowe Robin Hood beach battle!

It’s a great beach for surfing and they hold competitions there too – not that I can surf, but watching is fun!

Have you ever been to Freshwater West? Or any other Pembrokeshire beaches?
