Cuppa & Catch Up – November 2016

November has been a bit of a crazy month for me. I’ve had so much to do and struggled a bit to find a balance. Here’s the monthly catch up to let you know what I’ve been up to over the last few weeks.

Blog

Firstly, have you noticed my blog makeover? I finally changed my theme, made some extra changes and have almost got it looking how I want. What do you think? I’ll probably write a full post about it soon because I think it’s a bit lovely.

I also decided it was about time I added to my props and bought a couple of cute items for images as well as for a happy desk!

I haven’t been blogging quite as much this month, and (this is not a humble brag, promise) I have had so many blog events and have a lot of reviews to do. I feel really bad about not being a great person to collaborate with over the last few weeks, but life got in the way of the blog and that’s something I really want to work on so it doesn’t happen anymore.

I was invited to the fabulous BonPrix on The Rocks event earlier in November and had such a lovely night with great people! I have a post written about it and will be sharing tomorrow! I was also invited for some restaurant reviews in some pretty exciting places in Leeds and York! Posts coming up on these too.

Life

As well as the above events, it was my boyfriend’s birthday this month, so we went for a fancy meal out with a friend and of course had a couple big nights out in Leeds. By the way, Cau in Leeds is incredible! The best steak I’ve ever had.

I’ve had some great nights in too, which involved takeaway, wine and my favourite game, Articulate! So it was an eventful month! And pretty great!

I love writing these posts for myself, if anything, because looking above, I realise how much fun I’ve been having.

As for real life, I’m struggling with balancing my life and time. Aren’t we all? So while I have been doing loads of fun things to talk about on the blog, I’ve hardly had time to sit and write about them.

Coming Up

I cannot believe it’s December already! I am just starting to feel a bit Christmassy, and have to start my shopping too! I have so many people to buy for in such a short time. I’m also excited to use my Body Shop Advent Calendar! I’ll be posting what’s in it on Instagram each night (as don’t want to ruin it for anyone by posting earlier)

Thanks! It’s been a bit too hectic haha, I’ll rest in January! I’m so impressed by the calendar actually. I always worry they won’t be worth it, but will definitely be getting one next year as well xx
