Each Sunday I’m sharing some new things I’ve tried.
This week I tried:
I don’t hold out much hope for eye products as I find they never work well. I have dark undereyes and often redness. Sleep is not really my thing, and my eyes definitely suffer.
This gel-like cream has a bit of a yellow-ish tint. My eyes definitely looked brighter and more awake, and even less red. It’s not a miracle product, makeup is still needed, but as eye creams go, it’s one of the best I’ve tried.
Would I buy? Yep! But I’m open to other options.
I’m not keen on oils for my hair. Good as they may be, I always feel a bit icky. I know the benefits of Argan oil and wanted to love it. This oil-in-cream is perfect! I use it on damp hair before blow drying and see such a difference! My hair feels softer and silkier, and definitely looks better. I love it and will definitely keep using.
Would I buy? Yes!
The Organic Pharmacy Lip and Eye Cream
Urgh. I thought this might be a handy little product as it’s for eyes and lips, but no. It’s so thick and gloopy. It made everything a bit softer, but was far too wet for me to be practical. I’m a last minute girl – not a sit and wait for shit to dry girl.
Would I buy? Nah.
Dr. Lipp Nipple Balm for Lips
I’ve come across this stuff a few times, read it’s great, but for some reason never tried. It came in a GlossyBox (I think) so I finally tried it. It’s really thick so the tube needs a good squeeze. I tried the teeniest bit and my lips felt incredible! So soft! Not at all dry. Magic!
It’s like Vaseline (but better) in that it can be used for a number of things, such as dry skin, eyebrow taming, etc. I love that it’s 100% natural, odourless and tasteless.
Would I buy? Definitely! It’s £12 for 15ml, which seems a lot, but I’m confident it’ll last ages and be much better than a standard lip balm or cream.
So those are the samples I’ve tried this week! Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any and any that you would like to try.
