Anyone who regularly reads my blog will know how much I love The Body Shop. I’m constantly recommending their products, especially the skincare. When I was invited to the relaunch for their new concept store in Leeds, I couldn’t wait!
The event itself was lovely and the room was full of amazing Leeds bloggers. The decor was ‘wild’ and walking into the room we were met by a huge panda and zebra! The plants were gorgeous and definitely gave off the wild-themed vibe. The organisers had really thought it all through, with white backgrounds in good lighting placed around the room for pictures – I’ve never known a team at an event to be so aware. Plus we got a sneak peek of new products and I’m already a bit in love.
After a presentation about the new concept store, I had a look at the upcoming Christmas products. In some stores, you will now be able to get personalised body butter, which I will definitely be buying for Christmas gifts. Also the Spiced Apple products were incredible so I’ll be buying them for myself!
This year The Body Shop is 40 years old, so to celebrate they have an amazing boxed gift set with all of the favourites, old and new.
At the event, there were skincare and makeup counters (how incredible is the folding makeup stand?) where we were given further information and a chance to try new products.
At the end of the evening, some huge bags were brought out for us! I’m a massive fan of the bag alone, but inside was a voucher for us to get a personalised body butter, and there was one of their amazing advent calendars! I don’t think anyone at the event could believe the generosity of The Body Shop, and if anyone from there is reading, thank you so much. You just made my December!
This was a brilliant event, with lovely organisers and I’m looking forward to the concept store opening on Saturday 5th November. If you’re in Leeds, I’d definitely suggest popping by as they’ll be having some great offers throughout the day, Capital radio will be there, and you’ll get to meet the fab team.
