My Day in Leeds.

A couple of weekends ago, I met my friend in town for lunch and a wander about. We hardly get a chance to meet on weekends, so usually just have evenings after work to meet up. I can’t believe it was so sunny! I had a lovely day and thought I’d share it. I might start sharing my week/weekends a bit more on here as it’s a good look at Leeds and things I do in my spare time.

As soon as we met, we went for lunch at my beloved Primo’s in Corn Exchange, Leeds. I cannot get enough of this place! If you live in Leeds and haven’t been, go! Not only do they have insanely good hotdogs (my favourite!), but their milkshake is amazing too. I don’t even like milkshake usually, but its so good.

We then had a wander around town and popped into Benefit where I decided to get my brows done.

I started talking about make up with one of the beauty experts and she tried some products on me, and ended up doing a full face of make up. My previously sans make up face was definitely in need of some love and it got some!

We took a stroll around Kirkgate Market. There’s a bit of everything there from fresh food to clothes to furniture shops, and even a toy and lego stall! I loved these ones!

It’s surprising how much walking you do in the city centre. We went for a sit down at Banyan Bar (home of amazing cocktails) and had a bottle of wine between us. This wine was so nice! Thankfully we got a seat outside in the gorgeous sunshine.

Looking up when sitting in Banyan Bar, I thought the sky and city buildings looked great so took a few snaps.

It was a long day, and we were out for quite a while, so after much walking and drinking, decided to grab some noodles from Wok n Go and went and sat in the park nearby.

It’s so easy to have a great day out in Leeds without spending much – except if you’re me and buy ALL the things! It was really great to spend a full day with my friend and I went home happy and tired!

Have you ever been to Leeds or do you loive here? I’d love to hear what you think of it. You can see more about my life in Leeds here.
