Make Up Revolution Essential Mattes 2 – £4.00

I love love love my bigger matte eyeshadow palette from Make Up Revolution. With this being only £4 and a bit smaller, I thought it might be a bit better for travelling. Also, I’m going to attempt to de-pot, not that it worked for the other one!

Make Up Revolution Lipstick Nude – £1.00

As you’ll see from my previous MUR haul, I thought the lipsticks were great. I love the idea of nude lipstick, but when I tried Kate Moss’ Rimmel Nude lipstick, I wasn’t impressed. My lips do get dry, and this seemed to dry them even further. Also, the colour was way off and just not very nice. It might work for others, but didn’t for me!
I thought for £1, I might as well try the MUR one.
I put it on when I got home and it is the best lipstick I have ever tried! It went on smoothly, looked good, the colour was perfect, and it has staying power.
I’m tempted to just buy these in every colour!

Make Up Revolution Makeup Fixing Spray – £5.00

I haven’t put this to good enough use, but I will say that I’ve always been a bit worried about these. I always think they might just mess up the make up rather than keep it in place. Not the case, and I’ve heard from good sources that this stuff works! I did try it, and my make up didn’t go anywhere, but I haven’t tried it for a long enough time yet.

MaxFactor Face Finity 3 in 1 Foundation (Light Ivory) – £12.99

Ahh…where to start. I always go for light foundation, rose ivory and the likes. The colour up from this was far too dark/yellowy for me. So I went for it (no samples to try). I looked like a freaking ghost! It’s hard to make me look even paler, but this succeeded. Aside from that, it seemed to go on okay and gave a smooth finish.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Glossing Mist £5.99

I went to the hairdressers a few weeks ago, and he said blondes should always use a shine spray to brighten up their hair as it doesn’t reflect light well. I asked where this was in Superdrug by the way, and they had no idea what I was talking about! So I wandered around a while and this is the only one I could find. It does finish my hair a bit better. I’ve just dyed it so I’ll see how it is now my hair’s a bit lighter again.
B. creative Art Edition Vol. 5 Pro Face Kit  (Light) – £9.99

I don’t know why I bought this. Just putting that out there. I was taking in by the pretty packaging and how handy it seemed. It does work, and brightened up my complexion. I think I’ll be keeping this in my bag or when travelling rather than taking everything with me.

#NoFilter Make Up Bag – FREE!

This was a nice surprise at the counter. When you buy 3 products or more, you get this free. It’s a neoprene type bag so great for holidays, keeping in the bathroom, and other places where it might get wet.
The offer is still on!

Have you picked up any great high street/drugstore products lately? Tried any of these?

I was just going to say you’ll have to tell me how you get on with the make up fixing spray, but Jadeyrae has answered the question! Brill. It’s been on my radar for a while, I’ll definitely pick some up.
