About a month ago, after seeing so many Make Up Revolution products online, I decided to finally give them a go.
I had a browse on their website and couldn’t believe how cheap everything was. Another thing I love is that when you click a product, it comes up with reviews from other buyers. I’m all for a review before buying!
I piled things into my basket and ended up with everything I wanted needed!
I bought:
Focus & Fix Eye Primer – £1.25
Amazing Curl Mascara (Black) – £2.00
Pro F102 Concealer Brush – £1.99
Pro F103 Stippling Brush – £3.49
Pro Curve Countour Foundation Brush FF01 – £2.95
Ultra Cream Contour Palette – £8.00
Ultra 32 Eyeshadow Palette Flawless Matte – £8.00
Unicorn Lipstick (Pink Myth) – £1
Unicorn Lipstick (Legend) – £1
All this for about £30! (some were on sale)
I wanted cheap make up as I never use it that much and wanted to experiment a little.
Things I’ve never used:
Stippling brush
Contour cream
Eye primer
Curved foundation brush
Concealer brush
So yeah, brushes clearly were never my thing!
Focus & Fix Eye Primer – £1.25
Having never used one, this is a whole new world. Eyeshadow drives me mad as it looks good before I leave the house and is basically non-existent by the time I get anywhere! This helped enhance the colour as well as keep eyeshadow on!
Amazing Curl Mascara (Black) – £2.00
I didn’t expect much from this, as with any cheap mascara. I tried it out and was really impressed! The curve helped lift the lashes a bit and the colour was strong. One coat made a difference, but for a stronger look, I’d do two. One coat is my everyday use though.
Pro F102 Concealer Brush – £1.99
I used this for concealer and it was fine, but I still find I have to use a blender to really work concealer in. I got another idea and used it with the cream contour. It created great lines to work with and made my first contouring effort super easy so I just use it for that now.
Pro F103 Stippling Brush – £3.49
I have been looking at these for a while, reading reviews, etc. I actually had one in my Amazon basket that cost about £12 ready to buy. When I saw this for so little, I had to try it! I’ve never used one before, but it seriously works so well! I put liquid foundation on the back of my hand and dabbed the brush in it a bit. I then applied it and the foundation blended so well.
Pro Curve Contour Foundation Brush FF01 – £2.95 (was half price!)
To be honest, I have no idea how to use this thing. I haven’t tried. I will report back!
Ultra 32 Eyeshadow Palette Flawless Matte – £8.00
I’m in love! I hardly ever find eyeshadow that I like. They always have that annoying shimmer that I just don’t want on a normal day. These are matte matte matte, and there are so many colours that I can play about with lots of different looks. Before having this set I always used the same old eyeshadows, but now I’ve definitely improved on that area.
Ultra Cream Contour Palette – £8.00
Yet another new thing to me. I’ve used powdered contouring kits and they’re fine. They do…something. Again, lazy with make up, so not the best judge, but I gave a proper go, and it worked so well. It was easy to glide on and blend in, but definitely made a difference to the overall look.
The annoying thing for me is that I only use 3 colours really, and have almost hit pan already on the highlighter.
Unicorn Lipstick (Pink Myth) – £1
Unicorn Lipstick (Legend) – £1
I bought these lipsticks purely because they were £1.Why would I not! Also, I have a lot of subtle lip colours and reds, etc. So I thought I’d go for bright pink and a purple colour.
I didn’t expect to be so impressed by these. They actually stay on, unlike other cheap lipsticks, and the colour is really pigmented and as bright as it looks online. I don’t think they’ll be up there with my most worn, but they’re definitely fun.
Have you bought Make Up Revolution make up before? What are your favourites?
What am I buying next?! So many questions!

Amazing haul! So jeleous right now! I have wanted to try out their products for a long time! 😉 Could you also check out my blog for me? <3 valsvougexo.wordpress.com
Definitely worth a try. And of course!
Amazing
Wow, that’s crazy cheap. I’m a Sephora addict which is very expensive, but more reliable since I have sensitive skin.
Isn’t it? I’ve never bought from Sephora! I always say that and think I’ll look, but forget. Might be worth seeing what people with sensitive skin say about MUR 🙂
I’ve got that flawless matte palette too. I’m obsessed aaahhhh

Haha same! It’s so good! Although I think I need to get a bit more creative with it. 3 colours are well used and the rest barely touched X
