I love love love live music! I love the feeling of being there in the moment and hearing talented artists, watching them perform, it’s amazing!

I thought I wasn’t going to enough, but thinking about it, it the last couple of years I’ve been to a fair few gigs. In the last few months I saw a few gigs that I wanted to go to, including Leeds Fest, and this week the rest of them finally came around.

Over the weekend, I went back to beautiful Aberystwyth to a hospitality gig hosted by blackhouse. As well as some of the Hospital Records artists – High Contrast!!! – thee was Dub FX as well who I’m just a little bit crazy about. The talent on that stage was insane!

It was a tiring weekend, but so worth it!

Aberystwyth was gorgeously impressive as always! And I got to catch up with some of my favourite people.

We also took a bit of a detour and stopped in Chester on the way back for a break in the journey. It was so sunny and walking along the canal was great, even better when we decided to play in a motor boat! The canal has beautiful scenery, and amazing houses alongside it.

Look at that view!

As if that wasn’t enough loveliness for the week, I then got my tickets back for a gig at Leeds University Union to see Walk Off The Earth!

It was a much more chilled out gig, I stood at the back and just relaxed while watching. I obviously popped to the front for a bit for some action, but was really happy just being there and taking it in. These people are so talented, and put on a great show.

Not my best pictures, but can you believe the worst of these was taken with a phone from the back of a huge room?! Impressive!

And, if being impressed by technology didn’t make me sound old enough, I am totally ready for a relaxing weekend!

As Walk Off The Earth would say, sing it all away!
