Cuppa and catch up!

I haven’t been on here for a couple of weeks properly – although I have been quickly reading some of your posts.

A cuppa and a catch up are needed! Any excuse really!
Also, look at my new tea for one teapot from good ol’ TK Maxx – so cute!

Just a quick catch up on what I’ve been up to. For my own diary purposes I suppose.

I’m currently working hard at my full time job and trying to figure out all things Photoshop and marketing – fun times!

I’ve also been sorting out my flat a bit and got rid of loads! I’ve only lived there for 7 months! It’s ridiculous. I am sentimental about absolutely everything and always find a use for the most pointless things. I also kid myself that I’m going to suddenly magic back to my old size and re-wear all of my clothes – can it be called vintage after a year in a box? I’ll be writing a post soon on purging your own goods, I’m sure if I can do it, anyone can!

Has anybody else done a picture arrangement on the wall? I had these big ideas, and it fell a little flat really. Help! The wall is just too huge, but I love the pictures I’ve used and the frames as they are simplistic. I think in real life it looks okay, but when I take a picture, it seems like a tiny grouping on a giant wall. I might need to add some bigger frames. Given up for now!

I did do a bit of cross stitch for it though – haven’t done it since I was a child! Quite therapeutic actually.

I sat in my garden for the first time last week, and it is amazing to have a garden again! It’s been so long! Since moving to Leeds really, and it’s been too horrible out there until last weekend! I sat on a towel – it’s all glamour – and did some writing (that sounds so pretentious, although maybe less so to people with blogs)

I also went to a fantastic 1940s event in Harrogate, and had a few walks around Leeds.

The Aire canal is a nice walk, if you ignore the mucky water!

Other than that, I just made the best Hungarian goulash (recipe coming soon!) I’ve ever made. Nom nom nom!
