New purchase! Staple pieces, from day to night.

I bought two great items over the bank holiday weekend. I was actually looking for a wedding guest outfit (finally found!) – oops! I found these great stretch, twill trousers in H&M. I say found, pretty sure I own them in black, but loved the khaki green colour and haven’t seen them before. These are only £14.99 and the most amazing, basic, easy to style trousers ever! I wear black ones to work all the time. Then, in New Look, I saw this white top with lace and mesh panels. It’s really cute, over-sized and flattering (I’ve included the picture from New Look’s website so you can see what it looks like on). hmprod347267610347267610D1 I never manage to buy 2 items in one day that actually go together! I wore these the next day with black heels. It was quite cold when I set off out so I had to wear a black jacket. It is such an easy outfit to dress up or down. A couple of ideas are below:

Top, New Look £17.99. Khaki Trousers, H&M £14.99. Tan Leather Bag, New Look £49.99. Brown Sandals, New Look £7.99.

Top, New Look £17.99. Khaki Trousers, H&M £14.99.  Floppy Hat, Dorothy Perkins £14. Black Imitation Leather Bag, H&M £29.99. Black Suede Ankle Strap Shoes, Sophie Scarrott £169.95 (similar styles can be found in Primark, New Look, etc).

The second outfit would look great with a leather jacket for a colder day. Just don’t over-accessorise when wearing the statement hat. Have I mentioned how much I love my floppy hat?! I wore simple gold jewellery; a couple of bangles, small earrings and a long gold necklace from Accessorize that I love! It goes with everything, and sets off the plainest of outfits. My friend had one and I searched everywhere, until she got me one for my birthday.

I just searched for the necklace to see if it’s still there and it’s down to only £5.10! Get it HERE! I feel like I want another! Easy, simple, casual outfits that will suit anyone!
